This bed had all the right bones - established perennials, good plant variety, mature trees anchoring the space. What it needed was a cleanup and fresh mulch to pull it all together. That's exactly what we came out to do.

Fresh mulch does a lot of heavy lifting in a garden bed. It locks in moisture, keeps weeds from taking over, and gives the whole bed a dark, rich backdrop that makes every plant pop. Without it, even a well-planted bed can look tired and unfinished. With it, everything just looks intentional.

The edging is what really separates a clean bed from a sloppy one. That crisp line where the mulch meets the lawn tells you right away that someone paid attention. It gives the entire landscape a polished, finished feel that you notice from across the yard.

This property in Liberty Township had a lot going on - daylilies, ornamental grasses, ground cover, flowering perennials all growing together. Our job was to clean it up and let those plants shine, not fight for attention against weeds and old faded mulch. A good garden bed refresh does exactly that.

It's one of those jobs that looks simple but makes a huge difference. The plants were already there doing their thing. Fresh mulch and clean edges just gave them the stage they deserved.
