Fresh Landscape Install Adds Curb Appeal to Mason Home

A beautiful home deserves a front yard that actually matches it. That was the whole idea here. This Mason home had solid bones - great brick, stone detail, a stunning entry - but the landscaping wasn't doing it any favors. We came in with a full plan to fix that.

We started by building out the garden beds along the front of the home and around the side. Fresh beds, clean edges, and a thoughtful mix of plants that work together. Flowering color plants, ornamental grasses, hydrangeas, and neatly shaped arborvitae were all part of the mix. The goal was to layer in some height variation so the beds have structure - not just a flat row of shrubs against the foundation.

Once the plants were in, we topped everything off with fresh dark mulch. That part matters more than people think. The dark color creates contrast against the lighter brick and stone, makes the plants pop, and gives the whole bed a finished, polished look. It also helps retain moisture and keeps the beds looking clean longer.

The end result speaks for itself. The entry feels intentional now. Guests walking up to the front door are greeted by something that actually looks like it belongs there - not just a few random plants thrown in the ground. That's the difference between landscaping that's installed and landscaping that's designed.
